Who we are
"After 20 years as an educator, published educational research scientist, and a residency at the MIND Institute, I realized that the biggest gap in education isn't a lack of information—it’s a lack of clinical precision in the home. I founded this agency to bridge the gap between developmental science and daily instruction. We don't just 'homeschool'; we engineer environments where every child’s unique neurology is an asset, not a hurdle."-Dr. Wood
Dr. Taffeta Wood, PhD, is a premier educational strategist and the founder of Neuro-Architectural Education, where she specializes in bridging the gap between clinical research and high-fidelity home instruction. With over 24 years of experience as an educator and consultant, Dr. Wood holds a doctorate in Language, Literacy, and Technology from the University of California, Irvine. Her expertise is grounded in the A2i (Assessment-to-Instruction) framework, a data-driven methodology designed to calculate the precise "instructional dosage" required to maximize student growth.
Following a prestigious two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the UC Davis MIND Institute, Dr. Wood refined her clinical focus on neuro-complex profiles and gifted learners. Her contributions to the field are cemented by her work on high-level academic publications, most notably as a contributor and strategic advisor for the Handbook of Autism and Pervasive Developmental Disorders (5th Edition). Today, she leverages this deep research background to architect bespoke "microschools" and curricula for elite families, transforming complex neurobiological insights into actionable, high-ceiling educational roadmaps that empower the next generation of thinkers.
